I strongly object to BC Ferries' decision to build 3 new Super C-Class ferries worth $542 million in Germany instead of BC.

The loss to the BC economy of 2,000 direct and 3,500 indirect jobs over two years by giving them away to a foreign country makes no sense.

The provincial government should not allow BC Ferries to exclude BC shipyards from the final bidding process for new ferry construction or refit work.
